The Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources with the support of the European Union launched two landmark projects in Lusaka: the “National Land Audit” and “Technical Assistance to Land Governance and Management Systems”, totalling €5.8M.
These initiatives will transform land governance in Zambia, ensuring transparency, gender equality, sustainable development and a better business-enabling environment.
The ‘National Land Audit’ (€3.5M) focuses on updated land data and efficient law administration, paving the way for better decision-making and land reforms.
The ‘Technical Assistance to Land Governance’ project (€2.2M) aims to transform land access for all, especially women and youth, enhancing transparency and efficiency and fostering sustainable and private sector development.
